Refex
Refex is a range of solvent based,

on resin bonded and silicate cores / molds.
Application:
- Refex is suitable for cores / molds produced synthetic binder systems, Sodium Silicate systems as well as Bentonite Bonded Systems
- Refex range of coatings, find application in gray cast iron, ductile iron, steel, and non-ferrous castings
- Coating can be applied by dipping, brushing, or spraying
- Refex is formulated to resist hot cracks, metal penetration & burn-on
After Treatment:
- Ignite the moulds or core immediately after coating application or dry by hot air or blower.
Handling:
- Refex range of coatings contains inflammable solvents and therefore should be handled and stored with care
- Refex has a shelf life of 60 days if stored in cool and dry place
Precautions:
- Keep away from direct sunlight, heat and flames

Water Based Refractory Coatings
Mincoat
Mincoat is a range of Hydro based coatings in paste form for cores and molds.
Application:
- Mincoat is suitable for the molds and cores made from resin bonded sand
- Mincoat range of coatings, find application in gray cast iron, ductile iron, steel, and non-ferrous castings
- Mincoat wash can be applied by dipping, brushing and spraying
- Mincoat is formulated to avoid veining, metal penetration & sand burn-on
After Treatment:
- Dry by hot air blower or in oven
Advantages:
- Mincoat is in paste form
- Mincoat gives uniform and consistent coating, ensuring clean casting & reduces casting cleaning cost
Precautions:
- When coating by dipping application ensure clean dip tank

Our range of researched, developed and proven diecotes includes:

The Durcol range is colloidal suspensions for lubrication, metalworking, die casting and conductivity applications.
